Located at Jaynagar, Taaza Thindi lives up to its name and indeed offers a breath of fresh air from the otherwise usual darshinis. In an era where even idlis and dosas can pinch one’s pocket, that is not so at Taaza Thindi. Idli, vada priced at Rs. 10 each; Masala dosa at Rs. 20 (insanely cheap). One of the most amazing parts is that they offer such cheap food without compromising on the quality though the size is slightly smaller ,it is enough to fill you. Other items on the menu include khara bath, chow chow bath, tea, coffee. Couldn’t try those as I was full with my share of idlis, vada and dosa.
Service is real quick, as if they are offering fast food.
One of the most amazing aspects of this place is their attention towards hygiene. Dish wash room is open for the customers to see, spoons are sterilized, RO purified drinking water, heated plates, hot and normal water for drinking, neatly dressed and courteous staff. What else could one ask for?
